History of Primerty

History of Primerty

Louis Narcavage is the founder and owner of the company. In 2007 Louis, already a skilled builder and rehabber of housing, realized that there was a need to provide property management services to out of town, small property investors. The large property management companies were not interested in the small investor. Lou gained his real estate license and started the property management business. Louis obtained his broker’s license and became sole owner of the business. Primerty Holdings LLC is a full service real estate company that specializes in property management targeting the small investor. These owners generally live out of the region and need a full service property maintenance company to buy and sell investment properties, remodel new purchases, find and fill apartments with tenants, and also provide full maintenance of the building. Primerty Holdings LLC has filled that niche.

In 2015 Primerty had outgrown Lou’s kitchen table office and he began looking for a building to house his expanding business. Lou managed several buildings in Troy and was eager to participate in Troy’s “Renaissance.” With the help of Troy’s Lynn Kopa, Andrea Daley and the Little Italy Neighborhood.

With a yearly steady increase of owners, Primerty now has 40+ investors with properties scattered throughout the Capital District. Our properties include single family houses, 2-5+ apartment buildings and mix use buildings with commercial and residential units. Primerty also offers short term service to those local property owners who go on vacation and need temporary maintenance services. Though currently specializing in property management, Primerty is expanding its business model to include more listings (buying and selling) of all types of properties. Lou is growing his business to meet the needs of his current property investors as well as those new investors seeking to purchase property in the Capital District. In addition, his office works with local social service providers such as Unity House, TRIPP, and St. Joseph’s House to provide low income housing for those in need. Lou and his staff finds this work especially rewarding. Primerty’s goal is to meet the wide variety of property needs for Capital District owners and tenants.
